Aiding the Sudanese Refugees in Uganda Join brother Khalid on the Ground 19th May 2026

<p><strong>Prophet ﷺ said: “The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to people.”</strong></p><p><br></p><p>I will be travelling with <strong>Blackburn UK Trust</strong> to <strong>Uganda</strong> to support Sudanese refugees who have fled unimaginable hardship and conflict.</p><p><br></p><p>On the ground, we will personally oversee and deliver your aid to families who have lost everything. These are people who escaped war with nothing but their lives, now living in open fields with no shelter, no security, and no basic necessities. When it rains, their homes turn to mud. There is no dry place to sleep, no protection for their children, and no stability in their lives.</p><p><br></p><p>Mothers are putting their children to bed hungry, and fathers lie awake through the night, burdened by the fear of not knowing where the next meal will come from. Illness spreads easily in such conditions, and without proper care, even minor sickness can become life-threatening.</p><p><br></p><p>According to humanitarian reports, millions have been displaced by the crisis in <strong>Sudan</strong>, with many seeking refuge in neighbouring countries like <strong>Uganda</strong>. These camps are overwhelmed, under-resourced, and in desperate need of support. This is where we, as an Ummah, must step forward.</p><p><br></p><p>This is an opportunity for us to be the means through which relief reaches those in desperate need. To be the answer to the du‘ā of a mother in the depths of the night. To bring ease to a family facing hardship. <strong>The Prophet ﷺ said:</strong> “The most beloved people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to people.”</p><p><br></p><p>Give your Zakāt, Ṣadaqah, and Lillāh with sincerity and urgency. Your donation can provide food, water, shelter, and hope.
