On Monday 4th May, Blackburn UK Trust invites you to join the Sisters Water Walk Challenge at Corporation Park, Blackburn. Together, we will walk around the park carrying water, a small but powerful act of solidarity with our sisters across Uganda.

In Uganda, our mothers and sisters face harassment and the risk of abduction as they trek through dangerous bush paths. They do this not by choice, but simply to fetch a jerry can of dirty, contaminated water for their families. Through this water walk challenge, we walk a few kilometres through the park carrying jerry cans to reflect the hardships faced by our sisters in Uganda.
