Cataract Eye Operations
Restoring Sight, Changing Lives
Cataracts, a common eye disease, can rob people of their sight, leading to a life of hardship and isolation. For those living in poverty, the cost of cataract surgery is often insurmountable, leaving them trapped in a world of darkness.
The impact of blindness is devastating:
- Limited Mobility: Difficulty navigating daily tasks and accessing essential services.
- Economic Hardship: Inability to work and earn a living, leading to poverty and deprivation.
- Social Isolation: Feeling disconnected from the world and limited opportunities for interaction.
We are making a difference. Every year, we hold eye camps over two to three days, providing cataract surgery to between 1,500 and 2,000 people in need.
Your support can restore sight and transform lives. By donating, you can help us:
- Provide essential care: Fund cataract surgeries for those who cannot afford them.
- Empower individuals: Restore their independence and ability to participate fully in society.
- Strengthen communities: Improve the overall well-being and economic vitality of the communities we serve.
Together, we can light up the world, one eye at a time.
