Winter Warmth: 3,200 Coats Donated to the Homeless
Blackburn UK Trust’s Successful Winter Drive
Blackburn UK Trust has successfully concluded its annual Winter Drive, collecting a staggering 3,200 warm coats to help the homeless population combat the harsh winter weather.
This year’s campaign saw an overwhelming response from the local community, with individuals and organisations generously donating coats of all sizes and styles. The collected coats will be distributed to shelters, charities, and directly to those in need across the region.
“We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our community,” said Akeeb Mukthar at Blackburn UK Trust. “This year’s Winter Drive has been a resounding success, and we are proud to be able to make a real difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness.”
Blackburn UK Trust would like to thank everyone who donated coats and supported the Winter Drive. Their kindness and compassion will help ensure that no one faces the winter cold alone.
